A great site on the bridge overlooking the confluence of the Amstel River with the Singel canal in central Amsterdam. It also has the possibility of turning around to capture the State Opera House also reflecting on the water.

Photography Tips

Arrive early enough to compose, set up the tripod and narrow down the aperture as you wait for the right timing for the lights. There isn't much ambient light so you will probably need about a 15s shutter time.

Travel Information

This is central Amsterdam so get nearby and walk, take a bike or even a bike taxi. The Rembrandt Square, with plenty of accommodation and food, is nearby as is the flower market.
