New Caledonia Oro natural pool

Oro natural pool is a magical spot of Pins island in New Caledonia. The color of water, the trees, the white sand, the walk by the sand river, all is magic and incredibly beautiful.

Don't forget the tripod, filters, patience and sun protection!
Be careful with the tide, because with the high tide the walk back can be athletic.
For drone photography, check local drone regulations first. You might need to obtain a permit from the local authorities.

This island is only reachable by boat or by plane : check on New Caledonia Tourism Office website which tour operator you should go with.
Once you've parked, there is a small hike to reach this bay (30min). Depending on the tide, you'll need to walk in the river to reach the beach but it's worth it.

Take 2 days minimum to visited island and have e time to take a pictures at the best moments (sunset, sunrise, golden and blue hour...) because all is beautiful and there are a lot of tourists...
