The Chasm is a short walk track near Milford Sound. It offers easy access to some native bush and a couple of water falls. This photo is talk on a foot bridge over the top of one that drops down beneath your feet.

Travel Information

10km's from Milford Sound on the right side of the road as you are drive back to Te Anau.

Rain falls in Fiordland more than 200 days a year. Annual rainfall varies from 1200mm to 8000mm . It can really send it down here.

Sand files are also the size of honey bees.
