This was shot at sunrise at the end of Ladies Beach at St Heilers a suburb of Auckland. There a lot of dead trees that make for good subjects.

Photography Tips

Be careful as the rocks are very slippery. It needs to be low or mid-tide as you cannot move from Ladies beach around to the next beach at high tide.

Travel Information

To get to the spot you need to walk down the 100 or so steps down to Ladies beach. St Heliers is about a 20-minute drive from down town Auckland.
