The lighthouse was built in 1864 and in this case is shot from Aramoana on the opposite side of the entrance to Otago harbour Dunedin.

Travel Information

The spot is 35 mins drive from Dunedin. As it is quite dark walking along the breakwater to Dunedin Sunrise Point you may disturb some sleepy seals so just give them a wide berth and be careful
