From Allans Beach looking out toward Wharekakahu Island, Cape Saunders Dunedin, South Island. The beach as with many in this area are home to sea Lions that at times litter the beach.

Photography Tips

Use a 100-400 mm lens as the Island is a distance away.

Travel Information

The road ends with a short walk to the beach where in our case was a sea lion waiting to great us. You just give them a wide berth and all is good.
