The grand limestone rock battlements of Kura Tawhiti led early European travellers to name the area Castle Hill.

Photography Tips

In this place you have a nice leading line with the path and on the lower path a person can be integrated. I took the picture with a 24-70 mm lens gema.

Travel Information

The parking lot is only 10 minutes away and free of charge. we searched quite a long time to find this location. It is a bit off the official way but only about 20 meters. here we liked the formations the best.
