New Zealand Bridal Veil Falls (Waikato)
A very nice waterfall, located in the Wairēinga Scenic Reserve. The 55m (180ft) high waterfall plunge into a pool, framed by trees and the typical ferns. You arrive at the highest point and you can go down the stairs to the pool. There are many amazing viewpoints along the stairs.
Photography Tips
Go there in the afternoon hours (2-6pm), when the sun illuminates the waterfall. In the morning time there is shadow.
Travel Information
From Raglan to the south or from Hamilton to the west, you can find the parking lot along the Kawhia Road. The path to the waterfall is signpostet. I think about 20 mins to walk.
