Cape Palliser on the south-eastern tip of New Zealand has a beautiful lighthouse. A little less photogenic than the Castlepoint lighthouse, but well worth a visit.

Photography Tips

The long staircase up to the lighthouse can be used well as a guide line. You can probably also take good pictures here at sunrise or sunset, but there is no hotel nearby.
