New Zealand Mountain views from above Liverpool hut

The hiking area in the Mount Aspiring National Park offers stunning views into the valley and to the high surrounding glaciers and its peaks. This charming Liverpool hut next to this spit is a perfect place for mountaineering lovers how want to stay over night in the mountains.

Start your hiking at the Rasperry Flat Carpark. This 31,9 km out-and-back trail has around 1288 meter of elevation and is a very long and challenging hike. The last two kilometers are very steep and sometimes slippery. You definitely need experience in the mountains to get to this hut. Don´t go in bad weather and check this almost in advance.
