Bay of Islands is a good spot for some sunny beach days on the coastline or a bit remoter at one of these Islands.

The last edge of these coastline is Cape Brett, a rough cliffside, sometimes stormy and super remote with nearly no people.

Photography Tips

Use the 9 picture panorama mode from your drone for a wide angle landscape shot.

Use the zoom option, if your drone has it. You can create some nice different closer perspectives from the beaches.

Have a valid flight license with you.

Travel Information

Park your car at Hauai Bay or in one of the private properties like the Oke Bay Lodge. There are parking signs from some house owners where you can drive on and pay a fee.
