New Zealand Cape Foulwind Lighthouse, Westport
Cape Faulwind gives you a first nice impression of the rough west coast on the South Island of New Zealand. Wild beaches without any people, seals, cliffs, sea stacks. All this you can find here.
You will pass this lighthouse on your walk along the cliffs.

Photography Tips
Here I prefer the minimalistic shot. With a telezoom-lens you have the opportunity to get the lighthouse closer to the green palm trees in the foreground.
Travel Information
Parking is nearby. There is a walkway around the Cape and it really depends on you if you want to go down to the beaches. There is a small path. In total I would say you need one hour to complete it.
