New Zealand Opoutere Beach North
Opoutere Beach is a golden sand beautiful, quite remote beach on the east coast of the southern end of the Coromandel. Surf, beautiful stretch of sand and amazing nature can be expected.
Photography Tips
Use the incoming tide and its beautiful structure as a leading line throughout your photo. If surfers are coming in and out the water, use them as your focal object.
Travel Information
Parking is for free at the Opoutere Beach carpark. You will need to walk to the beach via the trail since the tides will flood and/or dry out the river banks which can be a bit dangerous. It will take you about 10-15 minutes to reach the beach.
