Te Henga beach is a beautiful black sand beach just in the outlets of Auckland. If you want to get good angles, you can also alternatively walk northwards to the rocks and cliffs and find good amount of frames.

Go when the tide is high up and retreating so you get beautiful chances of reflections

Travel Information

This beach is just about 40 minutes out of the center of Auckland by car. There is plenty of parking around. Take care, on summer weekends, this can get quite crowded.
