The Whangarei Falls is a beautiful small little nature retreat with a curtain like waterfall. From the upper platform, you have a good overlook over the surrounding areas and the falls itself.

Photography Tips

Wide angle lenses help here a lot since the platform view is narrow with a wide field.

Travel Information

Parking is right by the waterfall. Furthermore, there is two parking spaces for campers to sleep at (as of 2025). The upper platform is shortly reached by foot.
