Bennetts Bluff Viewpoint is one of the most spectacular lookouts on the road to Glenorchy, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The short walk from the roadside leads to a platform overlooking one of New Zealand's most iconic alpine landscapes.

Try to get as high as possible due to the fact that you might have heaps of bushes in front, depending on the time of the year.

Travel Information

Bennetts Bluff is located about 45 minutes from Queenstown and 10–15 minutes before Glenorchy along the Glenorchy–Queenstown Road. A small roadside parking area provides easy access to the viewpoint via a short, well-maintained walking track.
