Moturau Hut is the final overnight stop for most hikers on the Kepler Track, beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Manapouri. Surrounded by native forest and offering stunning lake and mountain views, it is a peaceful place to relax before completing the last section of the trail.

This little beach lies in front of Moturau Hut. Please be advised that there is millions of sandflies, not just literally. So take good repellent and maybe a net for your head with you.
