Mount Earnslaw (Pikirakatahi) is a majestic 2,819 m (9,249 ft) peak in the Southern Alps, towering above Glenorchy and Mount Aspiring National Park. Its snow-covered summit, hanging glaciers, and rugged ridgelines make it one of New Zealand's most iconic mountains and a spectacular backdrop for the Earnslaw Burn, Rees Valley, and Lake Wakatipu.
