The Hooker Valley Track is one of New Zealand's most iconic walks, leading through alpine grasslands, across three suspension bridges, and alongside glacial rivers to the stunning Hooker Lake. You will cross several bridges over the rivers. This is the second bridge which just got renewed.

Travel Information

From my perspective, this is a quite gentle walk. As this is, the trails get super crowded over the day as one of the most famous walks around New Zealand. It's highly recommended to get there early as also the parking los fills up insanely fast over the day.
