New Zealand Sefton Bivvy (from Hooker Valley Track)

Sefton Bivouac is a tiny emergency-style alpine shelter perched high above the Mueller Glacier in
Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park. Surrounded by towering icefalls, steep rock faces, and the dramatic peaks of Mount Sefton and Aoraki / Mount Cook, it offers one of the most spectacular high-alpine settings in New Zealand and is often used by climbers and experienced mountaineers.

you need to grab your biggest zoom lens to get this shot as the bivvy is well hidden in the landscape.

This is easy accessible from the Hooker Valley Track. The parking fills up super early, so rather be an early bird, starting your hike.
