Oman Wakan Village

A beautiful village on the Hajar Mountains in Oman. The village is part of Wilaya of Nakhal. beautiful views during sunrise and sunset. Very cool village to visit for high vista view. The weather is cool at the summer and cold in the winter.

Photography Tips

If you are coming from Muscat you need to plan ahead and leave very very early in the morning to reach there by sunrise. Allow 2-3 hours of driving time to reach the spot. 4WD car is a must as the road is steep.
At the location there is parking, small shop and restroom.

Travel Information

Coming from Muscat or Barka Town take the road to Nakhal and continue straight till you see the sign for Wadi Mistal, turn left and follow the road till you see the sign for Wakan then turn right and follow the road to the village at the very top.
