The Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Nizwa, Oman, was only opened in 2015. It is the second largest mosque in Oman.

Photography Tips

When I took the photo, the mosque and the surrounding area were already closed. Therefore, I photographed from outside the compound from the east through the bars of the fence. It was imperative to use a tripod.
