Pakistan Minapin Glacier Viewpoint

This viewpoint near Minapin Glacier offers a powerful look over the glacier and the surrounding high mountain landscape. The combination of ice, rock and steep peaks creates a very raw and dramatic scene.

Use a bush in the foreground to add color and depth to the composition, especially against the otherwise monochrome glacier landscape. Keep the frame clean and balanced. Alternatively, you can use a drone to show the full scale and structure of the glacier from above. Both wide ground shots and aerial perspectives work well here.

Park in the Minapin Valley, then take a jeep for about 1.5 hours up towards the glacier. From the drop-off point, it’s a 20-minute walk to reach the viewpoint. Plan enough time for the return, as the jeep ride takes just as long on the way back.
