Upper Kschura Lake is a calm mountain lake with a very clean and minimal setting. One of the main highlights is a tree standing in the water near the far end of the lake, which works perfectly as a simple focal point.

Photography Tips

Use a drone and fly from the shoreline back towards the far end of the lake to line up the tree in the water cleanly in the frame. Keep the composition centered and minimal. Alternatively, take a speedboat to reach the far end and shoot from a low angle to isolate the tree against the water and mountains.

Travel Information

Parking is available at a nearby café close to the lake. From there, it’s an easy walk to the shore and the boat area.
