This is the start of the Inca Trail that is 42 klms long takes 4 days and gets to a height of 3962 metres. There are only a set amount of hikers aloud on the trail at any one time, you must go with an organised tour you cannot hike independently.

Photography Tips

Make sure you book an extra porter to assist with carrying your camera gear. The porters carry your luggage and everything else but at 3000 metres the air is very thin so all your energy is for hiking and climbing.

Travel Information

You need to be reasonably fit with one of the days being a long day up and down hills and valleys.
