From Wispan you can walk a 21km hiking route over two passes to Inti Punku Sun Gate. The hike is not touristy at all, very individual. You meet locals, historical ruins and see different great views. Here are old terraces built by Inca, which are separated by special trees and are still used diversely.

Use at least 70mm to capture the details of the terraces.

Travel Information

For the hike, a guide by a tour company is recommended, because you can also often come into side walls of fog and then quite get lost. Also appropriate hiking apps that work without internet connection are recommended. Bring enough water and food with you.
