Peru Mountain Pass near Inka Quarry

From Wispan you can walk a 21km hiking route over two passes to Inti Punku Sun Gate. The hike is not touristy at all, very individual. You meet locals, historical ruins and see different great views. Here a track between steep mountains leads down over a scree. Take care!!!

Photography Tips

Uses the fog to scale a person. Otherwise, with such passes, the person is often lost in the image because there is too much structure.

Travel Information

For the hike, a guide by a tour company is recommended, because you can also often come into side walls of fog and then quite get lost. Also appropriate hiking apps that work without internet connection are recommended. Bring enough water and food with you.
