Nevado Ausangate is the fifth highest mountain in Peru with an altitude of 6384 meters. This mountain range is very impressive, surrounded by many different colored lakes and hikes.

Travel Information

With your car or a driver you will stop in Pajchanta. From there you basically don't need a guide. Offline maps help you to find your way, the paths are also well recognizable. It takes about six kilometers one way to reach the lagoons.
