The ruined city in Peru might be the most famous place in the country. As one of the new seven wonders of the world, this ruined city lives up to everything. A must for any visitor to the country. The city knows of incredible architecture and cleverness of construction you convince.

Photography Tips

Take advantage of the morning hike to arrive at the top before the first tourists arriving by bus. So you have the sunrise and the Inca city almost for yourself!

Travel Information

You will reach the town of Aguas Calientes only by train. From there you can walk a trail that will take you 40-60 minutes, depending on your walking speed. You should buy tickets beforehand, otherwise you won't get up there. Alternatively, there is a bus to the gates of the city, which takes about 20 minutes. Again, book your tickets early.

Extra to this picture: The terraces on the right hand site are way much bigger than the at the lower western terraces. Please take a look at the picture "lower western terraces view", if you want to shoot the "theater". It isn't exactly the same spot.
