The Park D. Carlos I in Caldas da Rainha - Portugal as a beautiful lake in the middle from where you can see the old buildings of the Hospital Queen D. Leonor.
This was one of the oldest Hospitals in the world. The park was used by the patients of the Hospital to rest and recover. This was a Termal Hospital and according to the legend the waters here were supposed to have strong healing properties.

Best time to photograph here is when the Autumn is in full power due to the beauty of the woods that surround the lake. Best time of the day is on Sunset.

Travel Information

A very easy acess spot. You can leave your car in a parking about 200 meters from this spot. The Park is free and closes at 20:00 pm
