This spot has one of the best overviews of the old quarters of lisbon. You can see the river Tagus flowing toward the atlantic and the bridge "Ponte 25 d'Abril" which looks similar to golden gate bridge.

Photography Tips

In summer on Saturday evenings there is often some fireworks going on somewhere in the city, which is a nice opportunity to spice up the night shots of the city. You can also see a continuous stream of airplanes coming down from southwest to the airport north of the spot. Sunsets are spectacular here.

Travel Information

Few parking spots and narrow and steep streets. I'd rather take the Tram to Largo da Graca to the east of the spot and walk the rest.
