This spot is one of the most beautiful spots on the main island of the Azores "Sao Miguel". The view of the two lakes, Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde, is breathtakingly beautiful.

Photography Tips

Depending on the weather, the lakes are sometimes covered in fog. So you should watch the weather well. I was very lucky because the fog slowly cleared at sunset.

Travel Information

You have to hike about a kilometer from the parking lot to the viewpoint. It starts right across from the parking lot.
