Oak trees emerge from the misty low clouds on the trail to Calcedonia. Peneda-Geres National Park, Northern Portugal.

Photography Tips

If you are up here when misty conditions occur try to find oak trees (and pines) being hidden and revealed by the clouds. In Autumn there can be good colour in the trees.
Check you aren't including electricity pylons and cables in your frame, I learnt that tip from experience!

Travel Information

Driving from Caldas do Geres or Campo do Geres you will find small parking areas alongside the road at the tops. If the conditions are interesting it is worth spending some time exploring. Car needed, although you could walk.
