This spot is located at one of the highest "peaks" in the plains between Beja and Castro Verde. It is crowned by a small chapel which offers a very amazing view over the plains.

Photography Tips

To achieve good panoramic shots bring a tripod with you. As parking is very close this should not cause to much trouble.

Travel Information

Only reachable by car, no public transport. From Castro Verde take the N123 and turn to the left to the small hamlet Monte Salto. You will see the chapel and hill to the right side. A good road leads from the hamlet to the chapel.
