Small coves and rock formations on the east side of Praia da Galé in Albufeira.
It works better with rising tide matching the end of the day, as you get tide pools and small coves and rock formations exposed being washed with the surf.
It also works good for milky way shooting between June and July.

Photography Tips

Be prepared to get wet and do some rock climbing to get to the most interesting spots.
Be careful with sea spray.
Best sunsets are from end of August until April. It needs north or south east winds to get some interesting clouds and you need to match the rising tide with the golden hour and sunset.

Travel Information

You can drive from EN125 up to Albufeira or go straight to Praia da Galé on your gps.
You have plenty of parking there.
After arriving to Praia da Galé, walk left / east over the orange rock formations and start looking for good compositions. The best ones are usually close to Praia do Chiringuito just near the luxury resort.
