The best time is during the sunset, but I recommend getting there at least 2h before so that you can look around and find the best composition.

Travel Information

If possible don't go alone since it requires a walk on a trail. Bring a headlight if you plan to stay until the end of sunset. The start of the trail is marked at the parking marker but it might make sense to leave your car at a place nearby with more space.
