I had to wait over half an hour to be able to photograph the tram alone without cars in front and behind. The photograph was taken in the afternoon on the road "calcada de Sao Francisco.The road forms this beautiful s and leads the eye to the tram.

Photography Tips

The best time to achieve this is early in the morning when the sun is just starting to rise, when there are very few cars but you might be able to do it in the afternoon with a lot of patience.
I used a 24-200 lens at 32mm.
