Portugal Palácio das Cardosas
The Palace was built in the first part of the 19th Century as a monastery for Santo Elói brothers. After the monks were forced to leave the city, a merchant Manuel Cardoso dos Santos, bought the property and named it after himself. Later Palácio das Cardosas was transformed into a hotel by InterContinental Hotels Group in 2011
