Portugal Sycamore alley at Alameda dos Plátanos

A tree-lined avenue creating a natural plane tree tunnel perfect for telephoto perspective shots.

Gear: Bring a telephoto lens (like a 70–200mm). Stepping back and zooming in compresses the trees, making the avenue look way denser and giving you a killer perspective.

Timing: Head here early in the morning for soft light and fewer people. If you get lucky with a bit of morning fog, the atmosphere is incredible.

Composition: Shoot from a low angle right in the middle of the path to get that perfect vanishing point.

Getting There: Easy to reach by car or foot. Just park nearby where it's safe and won't block traffic.

Best Season: Autumn is prime time for golden foliage, but late spring gives you that vibrant green canopy. Early mornings are best to avoid cars in your shot.
