Portugal Farol Do Arnel
Farol do Arnel is, as far as i know, the eastermost light house on Sao Miguel. It is not incredibly high, but its location compensates for that with fantastic views.

Ultra wide angle needed to capture the whole building. Bring a tripod as it is best to come during sunset or sunrise.

Park your car on the main road parking area and walk to the lighthouse. Yes, the walk is very steep, too steep in fact for most cars. I have never seen a steeper road. I know that the locals even do it with shabby old cars, but they were probably properly taught and they don't drive rental cars.
