Lusail Marina Prominade is best visited late in the day, when young locals come out to jog and enjoy the cool breeze off the sea. It is otherwise a quiet place dominated by the Fairmont hotel, AKA Katara Towers, and the twin tower of the Rosewood hotel.

Photography Tips
In the evening, you’ll have to deal with security staff who, when seeing you use a tripod, assume you are working professionally, which is prohibited. There is a sand bar/beach at one end, with steps going down to it from the promenade. It looks like a great spot for taking photographs from, but guards prohibit access to it.
Travel Information
To get there, ask a taxi driver to drop you off at the I LOVE LUSAIL sign, which is in the centre of the area. Getting a cab out of the area can be a problem because there are no taxi ranks and few passing taxis. If you don’t have Uber, you might have to ask a hotel to summon one for you.
