This beautiful spot can be reached with a hike of 2,5 hours around the dam's surrounding mountains.

Photography Tips

There are 3 spots near the rocks, 2 positioning towards south and one towards east, all very panoramic.

Travel Information

At the dam you can park on the road side - no parking fee. Summer sunny weekends can be crowded but you still get a parking spot. From there is a marked trail path (follow marks for "Piatra lui Lucaci") that take 2.5 hours to get to the spot which is steep (last 30 mins) near the rocks.
