Romania Sea of fog at Ceahlau

The Ceahlau massif is a very popular trekking destination on the eastern Carpathians. This time we managed to see what the locals are calling "Alpine sea". At 1750 m height there's high probability you are above the morning fog.

Travel Information

Use one of the tourist trails from either Durau or Izvorul Muntelui. We used the parking in Izvorul Muntelui this time.
