Romania Stiol lake

Stiol lake lies at the eastern tip of Rodnei National Park in Romania at the foot of Gargalau mountain. The third photo is a bit farther up the hill offering a different perspective but I felt it doesn't warrant a spot of its own.

We have seen people camping in tents near the lake, you can use this to view sunrise and sunset.

Travel Information

You can travel by car to Complex Turistic Borsa, then by foot using the tourist tracks, blue ribbon markings. There are other ways to access it all by tourist tracks. Weather can change fast in the mountains, bring adequate clothes.
