Russian Federation Staro-Ladozhsky St. Nicholas Monastery
Male monastery under the jurisdiction of the Saint Petersburg Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. It is located in the village of Staraya Ladoga in the Volkhov District of the Leningrad Region.
It is one of the oldest monasteries in Staraya Ladoga, founded in commemoration of the victorious battle against the Swedes during the Battle of the Neva at the mouth of the Izhora River. The monastery is dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia.
