The Trading Arcades are a commercial and warehouse complex dating back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries, spanning several blocks from Susanin Square to the former kremlin in the very heart of Kostroma. They represent an exemplary monument of urban planning from the era of Catherine the Great’s municipal reform.
