From this spot anything but ultrawide will be difficult to compose since the foreground trees will be awkwardly cut from the image frame. I challenge you to take a normal lens ;)

Travel Information

Take a Bus from Irkutsk to Chuzir (5-6h). In Chuzir it is best to stay overnight to make most of your stay on Olchon Island. From the village you can easily walk to Shaman Rock and set up your gear. Just remember that it is a holy site and respect your surroundings and don't be noisy or destructive.
