The best time to take photos at Anse Takamaka is in the early morning or late afternoon when the sunlight is softer. In front of the restaurant, there are 4 palm trees aligned that look really good in photos. Bring your telephoto lens for birds ! Aim for golden hours to get a soft light.
Travel Information
To get to Anse Takamaka by car, drive along the main coastal road towards the south-west of Mahé Island. Follow the signs to Takamaka, and the beach is easy to find. The drive takes around 50 minutes from Victoria. You can park at the GPS pin.
