Seychelles Farquhar north island

Farquhar is a very remote group of islands in the Seychelles. North island is usually the one visited.

Check local drone regulations first. You might need to obtain a permit from the local authorities. The spot is located next to the airport, so you need to check with them if the flight is allowed.

To get to Farquhar, you usually need to take a small plane from Mahé. The flight takes around two hours. Because Farquhar is very remote, it is best to arrange your trip and accommodation before travelling. You can also arrive to Farquhar by boat, usually on a cruise trip.

Be very careful when swimming and follow instructions of the guides. There are giant trevallies fishes (can reach 1.3m) that are quite aggressive in the waters.
