Aldabra Atoll is a remote and protected place, known for its wild nature, beautiful lagoon, and many animals, including giant tortoises. The island is mostly untouched and is an important place for wildlife and conservation.

Photography Tips

Check local drone regulations first. You might need to obtain a permit from the local authorities. The area is protected so you really need to ask for permission.

Travel Information

You need special permission to get there because Aldabra is a protected area. Visitors usually travel by boat or research vessel from other islands in the Seychelles. Trips must be arranged in advance, and access is controlled to protect the environment. I went on a cruise from Ponant (French company).
